На «Азоте» прошёл конкурс профессионального мастерства среди сварщиков

As part of the state program for replenishing aquatic biological resources, it regularly finances stocking of fish in the rivers of the region and Siberia. Over more than 10 years of the enterprise’s participation in the program, 1.5 million juvenile nelma, taimen and grayling were released into their natural habitat.

Kemerovo Azot takes water from the Tom to meet the energy needs of production, uses the river to discharge treated wastewater, and in return, as a responsible user of nature, sponsors the cultivation and release of fry of valuable fish species into the river. Specialized fish farming organizations are engaged in breeding and preparing fingerlings for life in open waters. In June and early July 2023, 43.7 thousand nelma fry and more than 40 thousand taimen fry.

“Our enterprise has obligations to replenish aquatic biological resources, since the plant uses a water body, the Tom River, for economic needs. But, in addition to this, we, as a socially responsible organization, also pursue charitable goals. So, for example, out of 40 thousand taimen fry released this summer, 30 thousand are obligatory, and 10 thousand are charitable.”

The company tries to regularly participate in environmental events in the region; Azot employees organize clean-up days both on the territory of the plant and outside it. This is not just fulfillment of obligations, but also a tribute to the nature of Siberia.
