Air quality monitoring in the KAO Azot zone of influence is conducted at the boundary of the sanitary protection zone and the area of the nearest residential development using a mobile environmental monitoring laboratory equipped with the latest electrochemical gas analyzers. Monitoring is performed for substances such as suspended solids, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, nitrogen oxide, hydrogen sulfide (dihydrosulfide), and ammonia. An independent accredited laboratory also monitors the sanitary protection zone.
